Hello!

I'm an illustrator and aspiring visual development artist residing in Cleveland with a couple years of production management experience in the animation industry. I enjoy creating characters and concepts steeped in whimsy and adventure.

Recently, I started documenting my current projects and process here.

When I'm not drawing, I'm most likely reading fantasy, rolling dice, browsing art markets, or attempting to communicate with my dog and cat.

My heart is broken. Yesterday we said goodbye to our beautiful Max in the comfort of our home, surrounded by treats, kisses, and pets. I’m still finding myself hallucinating, hearing for his steps, or speaking aloud as if he’s still here physically. He’s been a shining constant in my life, through some of the toughest times (covid, taking care of our late Grandpa, working first full time job remotely) and happiest moments (Helping improve my drawing, supporting me in virtual meetings, being my yoga and gaming buddy, getting into dnd, sharing my morning bagel, sooo many), and he wasn’t even trying. He’s truly the best boi. I hope he’s having fun up there peeing in all the bushes and taking himself on all the walks. He deserves it all, love you bubba 💖🥹✨

I also just realized the video is cut off🫩 from its original 2 min. Ty Instagram😤

It was serendipitous that HTTYD live action was being promoted while I was working on this, so of course I listened to the soundtrack. I then realized some of the first iterations of the dragon gave me Toothless “axolotl” vibes 😅.

The colors are based on my dog Max 💖.

Process photos for the book cover I created for the @indiebitesanthology Issue #16, Spirits and Spellcasters. I had a lot of fun making it, ESPECIALLY the ghosts and hair, which I didn’t anticipate making pink, but I’m so glad I did—cuz why not?!

The King Cake (Last cake in the series☺️!)

“Most Americans are likely familiar with Louisiana-style king cakes that consist of a cake-y bread dough twisted into a ring and decorated with colored icing and sprinkles. Variants can be made from cake batter or bread dough or pastry, but almost all versions are shaped into a circle or oval to mimic the appearance of a king’s crown.
To make it, sweet dough is twisted into a round and sometimes adorned with colored sugar doughs before being baked. Some versions are split and then filled with cream or fruit; others are topped with candied fruit, icing, and colored sugar. Louisiana-style king cake is almost always decorated in the colors associated with Mardi Gras: green, gold, and purple (representing faith, power, and justice).”

I love the wholesome Great British Baking Show and admire the great artistry of baking, so much that I wanted to draw bakes with ‘cake’ in the name lol (even if some of them aren’t technically baked in an oven—).

Designing stickers has been a dream of mine and I’m super pumped that these babies are finally in the production oven! Still sorting out some details but I can’t wait to put these up:)
