Happy New Year 2026! (#9)

We made it (collapses in February)! I hope this year brings good tidings and good health for everyone. In reflection, I’m glad with how 2025 went. I got to travel more(Pictures below), started a sticker shop, applied avidly, took classes, and even started socials again! I also got the chance to work on a short film (coming soon), made a bag, and broke my reading record! Despite the hardships faced, from rejection to my dog’s passing, I’m content and grateful with how my time went then.

My latest class I took was about Color and Light by the fantastic Kamille Rodriguez at Warrior Art Camp back in the fall/winter. This was DEFINITELY one of my favorite classes to date! I learned SOOOOO much and even made my own stamp brush in the final piece. I truly felt like I leveled up (even though I can’t get the canvas to be exactly 16:9 to begin with…)

I have many goals this year and am excited to get going! My first huge project I’ve just finished is for the incredible IndieBites Team. I’m sorting out some wips and documentation before I actually post it, but it’s currently released on their socials. It was such a pleasure and honor getting to work with Josie and Adie on this. They were so patient and encouraging on direction and I’m beyond excited that their kickstarter was funded within a week!! If you like reading fantasy and supporting indie creators, their quarterly digital issues are free to enjoy!

On a random note, I knitted a bunch of hats and ear warmers as Xmas gifts for my siblings. The result of seeing them try them on…was hard to watch (face palm).
