(Blows dust off) It's been awhile! Not going to lie, last couple of months were tough.

I had a great opportunity of working as Production Coordinator in AIA's Immersive 2D Animation Program. The goal was to complete an animated short within a month, by the end of July. Unfortunately, we weren't able to hit the deadline, and worked very hard throughout August and eventually September to finish it. We are in the final stretch, as of this moment!

Me while multi-tasking the last couple months.
Me while multi-tasking the last couple months.

However, back in August my dog Max passed away... Not a day goes by where I don't miss him. I'm very thankful for the support I've received from friends and loved ones; makes me happy to know our best boi got to meet so many people, and would've loved anyone he hasn't yet met.

I haven't been able to make much work since the anim project began, but am deciding to throw myself back into studying with an online course starting this weekend (because I am rusty and need to force myself to make work again). This will be my first class with Warrior Art Camp, and I'm looking forward to improving my color and light skills. Afterwards, I think I may take a short break...

On the reading side, I just finished A Drop of Corruption by Robert Jackson Bennett. If you like fantasy, Holmes mystery, and Attack on Titan, I recommend it.

I hope you are able to give yourself breaks and grace through tough times, it's important. Happy resting<3
