Happy New Year! Ah, it feels like just yesterday when I made a long post about how I was going to post my progress thoroughly (laughs nervously). Hopefully this year I can build a better habit of it.

In reflection, I do think I was productive in not just digital art, but also in other crafty endeavors, like sewing or knitting. I followed an actual sewing pattern for the first time ever (flashes picture of incomplete renn faire costume), but forgot to bring the complete ensemble in transit. I finally finished an 8ft long rainbow wool scarf (looks for photo of completed scarf and can't find any)...I swear it looks nice! I illustrated a cover for a fantasy anthology called IndieBites (Portfolio image TBD).

There are several goals I've yet to achieve, and I'm aiming to get them done, at a reasonable pace. For now, I've currently just finished a large D&D illustration celebrating the campaign I'm in, and am switching gears to work on a bunch of smaller pieces.

The style of the characters was very much inspired by the Castlevania Netflix series in the level of clothing detail and shading.

Speed recording of its creation.

Until then, Happy New Year and Happy Lunar New Year! (Bites into mooncake)
