Speed Applying! (#7)

The last couple months, I've ‘speed applied’ to a couple opportunities, bolstered by the book cover opportunity from last year. Although most of them didn't turn out, I'm glad I got the chance to crank out some new pieces and improve on old ones. Some of the entered pieces are below:

My First Figure Drawing Class in Years!
I signed up for an Intro to Figure Drawing course with CDA. I'm definitely rusty, and am hitting walls in terms of breaking down forms, but I'm hoping it'll help elevate my characters. One of the most memorable lessons from a class I took is that when you feel frustration, it's a sign that you're taking in new information and processing it.

The Cakes are Done!
Woohoo the stickers are done and up on my etsy! I had fun taking photos and trying to make them look as majestic as possible with sprinkles. I'm very happy with how they turned out and hope other cake lovers like them too!

Back to Coordinating
So one of the opportunities I applied for back in May responded back and I got in! For one month, I'm excited to get back in the coordinator seat and be apart of the animation prod team for AIA's 2025 2D Animation Production Program. Although I also applied for a vis dev role, I'm looking forward to working in a team again, making new connections, and gauging my feelings on if I would want to also pursue production roles. Wish me luck!
Happy Animating!
